I saw many pictures tonight with
ONE MOON
the one everyone sees,
ONE TREE
the one in my front yard.
ONE SKY
the one that surrounds the entire world
and a creative eye
for which I am so thankful for.
How?
Let me tell you.
The brightness of the full moon caught my eye
as I stepped out on my front porch.
I was awed by the shapes
that stood out by the silhouette of the branches of that tree
and the lines that carried my eye
as I walked across the porch.
Those lines changed
and another picture came into sight.
It was more than exciting.
I began moving more and more
and each time the shape and lines changed.
Nothing moved but me.
The same moon...
The same sky...
The same tree...
In the same place.
I loved what I saw.
Another reminder that discovery and inspiration
can be found all around us,
in unsuspected places
only if we tune in and grasp the moment.
